Trico Spinner Black

Trico Spinner Black

The Trico Spinner in Black imitates spent male Tricos that carpet the film during summer spinner falls. A flush-floating black spinner silhouette fools trout sipping tiny spent adults when dun patterns stop working and the surface is littered with spent mayflies. Black male Tricos are a staple match on Colorado tailwaters once the morning chaos shifts from duns to spinners.

Fish it on fine tippet through glassy edges on the Frying Pan, Roaring Fork, and Colorado River during Trico spinner periods. Pair with a drowned or floating Trailer when rises are mixed. A black Trico spinner for technical Colorado Western Slope summer mornings.
