The 1851 Navy revolver, produced from 1851 to 1872, was the most famous model of the cap-and-ball era for good reasons. This 6-shot offers perfect balance, precise aim, and functional dependability. This 1851 navy model features a case hardened steel frame, blued parts, brass backstrap and triggerguard, octagonal barrel, and an walnut Navy size grip. The .44 caliber model includes a rebated cylinder and the .36 model includes a standard Navy cylinder. A conversion cylinder is available for this model that is a drop-in conversion to smokeless .45LC/.45Schofield (for the .44 model) and .38LC (for the .36 model) ammunition.
