The Slumpbuster Rust is a warm-toned streamer fly fishing fly tied to imitate crayfish, sculpin, and baitfish on Colorado’s Western Slope tailwaters. The rust colorway — a rich blend of orange-brown tones — is a proven trigger color for large brown and rainbow trout, particularly in the fall when crayfish are most active and trout are aggressively feeding ahead of winter on the Roaring Fork, Frying Pan, and Colorado River.

Strip it through deep runs, swing it through tailouts, or hop it along the bottom to trigger reaction strikes from the biggest trout in the river.
