RIO Gold Elite is an all-around weight-forward trout fly line for anglers who fish dry flies, droppers, and light indicator rigs. Its long head and extended back taper help carry line, control casts, and make distance mends on rivers and lakes.
The standard-weight design pairs a long back taper with a 5 ft 6 in front taper on the WF5F version for a softer presentation. RIO lists a 47 ft head for WF5F. Choose WF4, WF5, WF6, WF7, or WF8 to match your rod and fishing setup.
