Red Quill

The Red Quill imitates the male Ephemerella mayfly dun with its distinctive reddish-brown stripped quill body and upright wings. A classic pattern for spring and early summer hatches on Colorado's rivers — particularly effective during the Hendrickson and Red Quill emergence on the Roaring Fork and Frying Pan.
