Quigley's Film Critic is a legendary CDC dry fly designed to ride flush in the surface film, imitating a crippled or emerging mayfly that trout can't resist. Developed by Bob Quigley, this pattern excels during Blue-Winged Olive and PMD hatches when selective fish are keying on emergers trapped in the film.

The sparse CDC wing and trailing shuck create a lifelike silhouette that fooled even the most educated trout on Colorado's technical tailwaters. An essential fly for the Fryingpan, Roaring Fork, and Colorado River.
