The October Caddis imitates the large orange-bodied Dicosmoecus caddis — one of the most exciting dry fly hatches of the fall season on Colorado's rivers. Its big profile and orange body trigger aggressive surface strikes from large trout on the Roaring Fork and Colorado River from September through November.
