The Mr. Heater BuddyFlex Portable Propane Heater is the most versatile heater in the Mr. Heater lineup, featuring a flexible hose that allows the burner head to be positioned and angled independently of the fuel source. This flexibility makes the BuddyFlex ideal for ice fishing shelters where space is limited and you need to direct heat precisely where it's needed without repositioning the entire unit.

Flexible Hose Design

The BuddyFlex's defining feature is its flexible hose that connects the burner head to the propane canister, allowing you to position the burner head at any angle. This means you can set the propane canister on the floor of your ice shelter and angle the burner head to direct heat toward anglers rather than straight up at the ceiling — dramatically improving heating efficiency in small shelters. The flexible design also makes the BuddyFlex easier to store and transport than rigid heaters.

Safe for Indoor Use

Like all Mr. Heater Buddy series heaters, the BuddyFlex is equipped with an Oxygen Depletion Sensor (ODS) that automatically shuts off the heater if oxygen levels drop to unsafe levels, and a tip-over safety shutoff that cuts fuel if the heater is knocked over. These safety features make the BuddyFlex safe for use inside ice fishing shelters, ice houses, and other enclosed spaces with adequate ventilation.

Runs on 1lb Propane Canisters

The BuddyFlex runs on standard 1lb propane canisters that are widely available and inexpensive, making it economical to operate for full-day ice fishing sessions. An optional hose adapter allows connection to larger 20lb tanks for extended use.
