The Lunker City Fin-S Fish 5.75” is a popular mid-to-large size in the original fork-tail minnow series — offering a balanced profile that's bigger than the 3.5"/4"/5" versions but not as massive as the 7" or 10". It retains the classic slim, flat-sided, deep-bellied shape with the signature split/forked V-tail that delivers subtle quivering, darting glides, and lifelike vibration on the fall, jerk, or slow retrieve.

Key Features of the 5.75" Size

  • Length: 5.75 inches (about 146mm) — a versatile "sweet spot" for many anglers.
  • Weight: Approximately 0.4 oz / 11g per bait — casts easily, sinks at a moderate rate, and works well for mid-depth or longer casts.
  • Design: Pronounced belly for realistic baitfish silhouette, flat sides for excellent side-to-side action, and the iconic forked tail for natural movement with very little effort.
  • Best Uses: Texas rigging (weighted or weightless), drop-shot, Carolina rig, jigging (1/4–1/2 oz heads), slow-rolling, or finesse presentations in deeper water. Highly effective on largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, walleye, pike, striped bass, and other predators — especially when fish want a substantial yet subtle profile in clear, pressured, or structure-heavy water.
  • Rigging Tips: Use offset EWG hooks (4/0–6/0 for Texas rig), medium-heavy jig heads, or screw-in weights for weedless setups. Pairs great with finesse techniques or as a larger option when smaller sizes aren't getting bites.
  • Colors: Excellent selection including Alewife, Arkansas Shiner, Albino Shad, Ice Shad, Pro Blue Shad, Metallic Carrot, and many high-flash or natural baitfish patterns.
  • Pack: Typically 6–8 per bag (often 6 or 8 depending on retailer), durable with the original scent/attractant.

This size strikes a great balance — more presence and casting distance than the smaller Fin-S Fish, but still finesse-oriented compared to the bigger 7"+ models.
