The Hoyt Alpha X 30 represents one of the most complete and forward-thinking designs in Hoyt’s history. Engineered entirely from the ground up, this bow is the result of extensive measurement, modeling, and analysis—crafted to deliver ultimate stiffness, balance, and shooting comfort.

Innovative Riser Design

At the core of the Alpha X is Hoyt’s next-generation Tec-Lite riser. With longer, offset top and bottom tunnels, engineers strategically reinforced high-stress areas while removing excess material where it wasn’t needed—creating a platform that’s both exceptionally strong and remarkably lightweight.

Hoyt also tackled one of their biggest goals: reducing shot noise and vibration without adding limb dampeners. Through cutting-edge vibration modeling and field testing, the Alpha X achieves a quieter, smoother shot than any previous Hoyt carbon or aluminum bow.

Integrated into the riser are several modern mounting features:

  • In-Line Picatinny Sight Mount: Centers sight weight along the riser for better balance and reduced torque.

  • Integrate Dovetail Rest Mount: Securely anchors rests like the QAD Integrate system.

  • In-Line Short Stop Stabilizer (2.25”): Sits low and forward, achieving the stability of a 6-inch bar while keeping the overall setup compact and balanced.

Comfort and Control

Hoyt’s VitalPoint Grip, molded from soft Versaflex, promotes ideal hand placement by centering pressure through the middle of the grip—reducing torque and increasing consistency. The low-profile Roller Guard uses sealed bearings for silky-smooth cable travel and improved efficiency throughout the shot cycle.

Power and Performance

Driven by the all-new HBX Xact Cam System, the Alpha X produces IBO speeds up to 344 fps while maintaining Hoyt’s signature smooth draw cycle. Three rotating base modules cover draw lengths from 25–30 inches (in ¼-inch increments), and shooters can choose between 75%, 80%, or 85% let-off.

The adjustable Module Foot lets you tailor the back wall feel from firm to ultra-solid—giving archers full control of draw experience. Hoyt’s upgraded WireWRX strings are pre-stretched under high tension to eliminate peep rotation and maintain perfect tuning over time.

Built for Durability

Hoyt’s legendary Split Limb Technology remains a hallmark of strength and consistency. Each set of Multi-Layered Parallel Split Limbs undergoes rigorous testing, including 1,500 dry fires and over a million shot cycles. Machined aluminum limb pockets ensure perfect alignment and repeatable accuracy from shot to shot.

On the Range

The Alpha X feels right the moment you draw it. Its balance, solid back wall, and wide valley make aiming natural and steady. At 4.55 lbs, it’s not the lightest bow on the market—but that weight contributes to its ultra-stable hold, minimal hand shock, and dead-silent shot.

This is a bow built for shooters who demand the best in both comfort and control—and who appreciate refined engineering that performs as beautifully as it looks.
