The CVA Optima V2 is a feature-rich .50 caliber muzzleloader built on the same platform as CVA’s top-of-the-line Accura V2. It shares the same trigger-guard actuated breeching lever, internal parts, and neutral center-of-gravity trigger — delivering Accura-level performance at a more accessible price point. The 26" 416-grade stainless steel barrel is easy to maneuver in a tree stand and comfortable to carry in the mountains.

CVA’s Quick Release Breech Plug is finger-removable without any tools for fast, easy cleaning in the field. The 100% ambidextrous stock and CrushZone recoil pad make this one of the most comfortable and versatile muzzleloaders in its class, and it comes standard with a CVA solid aluminum PalmSaver Ramrod.
