Copper John – Copper/Black – Classic Attractor Nymph

The Copper/Black Copper John is a darker, high-contrast variation of one of the most productive attractor nymphs in Western fly fishing. The black wing case and copper wire body create a silhouette that reads as a stonefly or mayfly nymph in low-light conditions, off-color water, and deep runs where trout are holding tight to the bottom. A reliable producer on the Roaring Fork, Frying Pan, and Colorado River throughout the season.
