How to Fish It

Cast across or downstream and retrieve with a strip-pause action that lets the articulated body breathe and undulate between strips. The olive version is especially effective in clear, low water conditions and on sunny days when big trout are visually hunting prey along the bottom. Fish it on a sink-tip or full-sink line to get it into the strike zone along the bottom of deep runs and undercut banks where sculpin live.
