The Chubby Chernobyl in Purple/Black is a large foam terrestrial attractor dry fly that combines two of the most effective attractor colors in fly fishing into one high-contrast, fish-triggering pattern. The purple-and-black two-tone profile creates a bold, dark silhouette that stands out in the surface film — particularly effective in low-light conditions, overcast days, and off-color water where dark, high-contrast patterns draw aggressive strikes from trout. The buoyant foam body rides high in fast riffles and broken water, and it doubles as an excellent indicator fly in a dry-dropper rig on the Roaring Fork, Frying Pan, and Colorado River.
