The Chubby Chernobyl in Olive is a large foam terrestrial attractor dry fly that shines during the salmonfly and green drake seasons on Colorado’s Western Slope rivers. The olive colorway closely matches the natural tones of salmonfly nymphs, green drakes, and the wide variety of olive-bodied terrestrials that trout key on throughout the summer. The buoyant foam body rides high in fast riffles and broken water, and it doubles as an excellent indicator fly in a dry-dropper rig with a nymph trailing below.
