The Spent Partridge Caddis imitates a spent caddis adult lying flat in the surface film after egg-laying — a presentation that selective trout key on during and after evening caddis hatches. Its partridge hackle and low-riding profile create a lifelike silhouette for the flat water and slower pools of the Roaring Fork and Frying Pan.
