Colorado Muzzleloader Season
Colorado's dedicated muzzleloader season runs mid-September during the peak elk rut. Legal firearms must use loose granular black powder or an approved substitute (no pelletized powder), ignited by matchlock, flintlock, wheel lock, or percussion cap — no scopes permitted. Our staff can help you confirm your setup meets Colorado regulations.

Muzzleloading Rifles
We carry inline and traditional muzzleloaders from CVA (Paramount, Accura), Traditions (NitroFire, Vortek), and Knight (Ultralight, Mountaineer) in .45 and .50 caliber — built for Colorado elk and mule deer country.

Propellants
We stock granular propellants legal for Colorado's dedicated season: Hodgdon Pyrodex RS, Triple Seven FFG and FFFG, and Blackhorn 209. Available in-store only per Colorado regulations.

Projectiles & Primers
